Wahluke Slope/Reed Vineyards Pinot Grigio - $16
Starting with the 2014 vintage, we no longer source with second Pinot Grigio from the Wahluke Slope and switched to a vineyard no only closer but also with better fruit. Instead of an Italian style Pinot Grigio with racy acidity (which was our Wahluke Slope version), this wine is sourced from Reed Vineyard on the north side of the Tri-Cities. Our current vintage is 2015.
Tasting Notes: Pale straw in color, this wine opens with baked apple, pear, lime, and linen. On the palate, bright, citrus acidity hits immediately and leads into apple and pear with a hints of banana, peach, and white plums. The flavors develop over time and lead into a long finish. This wine is the perfect pairing with a summer day patio. Drink now through 2020. 3.08 pH and 7.2 g/L of titratable acidity.
